The family patriarch, a die-hard gourmet, used to say to us: “Cooking is the art of knowing how to combine a good selection of the tastiest food in the right proportion, cooking them with patience, and then serving them”.

The truth is that in the beginning, cooking techniques were very simple and uncomplicated, and patience was scant, although products were always selected with the greatest care and attention. And we have gradually created our current identity throughout the years. We offer fresh market cooking, free of fat and unnecessary frills, to satisfy current demand, always using quality ingredients and made impeccably following the culinary tradition of the area.

Our cooking stands out by virtue of its Mediterranean style, with a major influence of Catalan cuisine.

There is a wide variety of dishes to try, from rice to fish and excellent meats. Our cooking is always managed by great professionals and supervised by a member of the family, and we have never stopped making traditional dishes such as cod esqueixada (with onions, peppers and oil), escalivada (eggplant, tomatoes and onions), xató (salad served with a sauce made with almonds, hazelnuts, breadcrumbs, vinegar, garlic, olive oil, salt, and nyora pepper), shallots, snails a la llauna, etc. We have also innovated with dishes such as shrimp tempura, cold octopus and green salad, prawn carpaccio, cod with honey or with pear mayonnaise, etc. We have not foregone dishes such as steak with foie or grilled asparaguses, and it goes without saying that we are loyal to our holm-oak coal grill which gives traditional meats that special flavour. Our fresh fish dishes also deserve special mention, either in sauce or grilled, a reference in the area, since we have the good fortune to be located near the fish markets of Tarragona and Vilanova i la Geltrú.

Our wine list features more than 100 items, from the latest novelties to the indispensable classics, including most of the Spanish wines with “Denominación de Origen” (Designation of Origin – DO).
